Climb 2025!
Climb is the small church leadership conference for the International Churches of Christ. The first conference, held in 2019 in Eau Claire Wisconsin in 2019 was a breath of fresh air for hundreds of small church leaders. In 2021 and 2023 we held the conference in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and doubled our attendance.
For the 2025 edition, we’re going back to our small church roots with the Lansing Area Church of Christ (Michigan) hosting.
We look forward to a time of inspiration, connection, encouragement, and learning for all who are able to attend.

Hotel + Travel
Lodging: There are many high-quality hotels for low rates that are just a few miles away from our location at 1000 Lincoln Ave Lansing MI 48910.
Here are three recommendations:
Preferred Option: Double Tree Downtown Lansing – A great downtown option with many cool hangouts and free warm cookies. Only ~$160/night using THIS LINK.
- Or to make a room reservation by phone call 1-833-904-2206, and reservations can assist with securing rooms.
- Courtyard Lansing Downtown – Midwest urban feel with many restaurants and coffee shops nearby and a market on the first floor. ~$155/night.
- SpringHill Suites East Lansing – Coffee shops, restaurants, and a market right in the parking lot. Easy travel to and from church building. ~ $130/night.
AirBnB – If you prefer to stay in an AirBnB or link up with other attendees, Lansing and East Lansing have many options, just be sure to stay in close enough proximity to the church building.
Rental Cars: Since the conference is in a smaller city and the sessions will be (mostly) held at the Lansing Church building, you’ll need to secure transportation – ideally from the airport you fly into. Uber/Lyft is available, but not as readily as in larger cities. You can reach out to others on our Facebook page to share rental cars and flight info.
Flights: There are a few options for getting to Lansing Michigan:
1. Fly to Lansing (LAN). The airport is about 15 minutes from the church and hotels. (Actually everything in Lansing is about a 15 minute drive or less.) You’ll need a rental car to get around town during the conference. It can be difficult to get a direct flight to Lansing. You may save time and money from the options below.
2. Recommended: Fly to Detroit (DTW) and rent a car there. Detroit Metro Airport is about 90 minutes from Lansing. It is a great airport. The flight will surely be cheaper and you’ll avoid an extra layover for the jump to Lansing (typically from Detroit or Chicago O’Hare.) Once, you get to Lansing, you’ll be 10-15 minutes from everything.
3. Fly to Grand Rapids (GRR) and rent a car there. If you can get a direct flight to Grand Rapids, it is a 1 hour and 15 minute drive to Lansing. The airport is larger than Lansing (better chance of a direct flight) but smaller, and easier to navigate than Detroit.
